The result is a pear and pineapple-scented harmonious and aromatic white of real quality, with a touch of ginger and honey on the dry finish.

Producer: Brothers Henri and Louis Andrieu’s family have owned this 110 hectare property east of Carcasonne for four generations, and there is a real sense of continuity combined with a desire to maintain and improve the family inheritance. Louis speaks of “le beau métier du vigneron” as if it is his duty to make the best wines he possibly can, and achieves this through a combination of very low yields (down to 35 hl/ha – amazing for this part of France), organic grapes, and partial barrique ageing.
